23rd Dec - It was an evening out with my wife.
The food was very good.
The waitstaff were, in the main, excellent. (The drinks waiter needed to be considerably more attentive to customers' empty drinks/glasses but he was a glaring exception to the other four very professional staff we encountered).
The restaurant is a long serving tradition within Wests Leagues Club and does a very good job.
The one drawback of the evening for us is that the attitude and dress standards of fellow diners has gone way down-market over the years. Clothing was not just casual for some folk but we saw torn items, seriously dirty street clothes and several men and women who looked like they'd just arrived to eat from mowing their lawns or cleaning their houses. (Maybe the door-staff need to re-look at entry dress rules which used to be a priority in recent years.)
